Reluctant
to march to his certain death, Blackadder has taken to ignoring orders. He even
shoots a carrier pigeon when it arrives with orders to advance, and eats the evidence.
Unluckily, this particular pigeon is the property of General Melchett, "My
own true love, who's been with me since I was a nipper." Blackadder
is court-martialled, tried by the less-than fair Melchett, and sentenced to death
by firing squad. Review:Rather too dependent on us accepting that
Melchett's lunacy knows no bounds, this episode is not quite as strong as the
others. Some good moments, however. Credits:
